Season Predictions

Regular Season: The Pelicans are the ultimate victims of the impossible Western Conference. For a few reasons:

1. They would likely be among the best teams in the East, even more so than their record indicates, as they have been playing against West teams for the majority of their schedule, as opposed to East teams if they played in the joke conference.
   
2. They feature superstar PF/C Anthony Davis, one of the best players in the league at just 21 years old. How could us basketball fans not be able to watch him in the postseason?
   
3. They play in New Orleans! How does that put them in the WESTERN conference?!
   

If I was a Pelicans fan I would be very angry because of this, and demand change to the playoff qualification system to make things more fair. After all, how could a team with Davis as well as young budding stars PG Jrue Holiday, SG Eric Gordon, SF/SG Tyreke Evans, as well as PF Ryan Anderson and C Omer Asik up front miss the playoffs? It’s an outrage and something the league must address.
