Hello readers, and welcome to the newest article on theballblog.com: Best and Worst Draft Scenarios! The name is fairly self-explanatory, as here I will detail both the best case scenario and the worst case scenario for every first-round pick for every team. This includes trading the pick (or not trading it), what prospects will fall to each team at their respective pick, making the right/wrong decision between the prospects that are available when the team is on the clock, and more. It's very important that the reader understand that both the best case scenario and the worst case scenarios are realistic. For example, the Trail Blazers, drafting #23 overall, won't be taking PF/C Karl Anthony-Towns (projected to go #1) with their pick, nor will the Knicks at #4 for that matter. On the flip side, the worst case scenario for the Timberwolves, the team that is drafting #1 overall, will not be taking a prospect that's supposed to go in the 20s-range like SF Justin Anderson. Rather, both the best and worst scenarios must be realistic, which is one of the main criteria that I used. It should also be noted that both the Clippers and the Pelicans do not own a first-round selection, while the Lakers and the Celtics have two apiece. Therefore, there will not be an entry on either the Clippers or the Pelicans, while there will be two (one for each draft pick) on both the Lakers and the Celtics. Enjoy!

Important note: the bolded parts on each team's best and worst case scenarios represent the summary/highlights/key details of it. You may read just the bold and still get the jist of it, but obviously if you would like to understand it further or know more, or if just reading the bold is simply more confusing, you should read the entire thing. This is what I recommend -- reading the entire thing. Use this little blurb that I just wrote as an example to see the difference between reading the bold and reading the entire thing.
